In cultural weddings and for couples’ whose family members based in different countries, it is common to have two or a few days celebrations. Due to limitation for number of guests allowed in venues, you may want to have a separate day for the second half of the wedding celebration. We have came across a lot of multi-days weddings, and here are some tips for the grooms and brides who are planning to get married soon, right after lockdown lifted.

RUNDOWN

Engagement shoots and Pre-wedding shoots are not affected much at the moment, feel free to book one, wear wedding attire during your shoot, so that you can make sure you have some photos of you without the need of wearing face masks. You can also circulate a pre-wedding album to collect guests messages and signatures (especially for the guests who cannot come). It would be a valuable blessed gift. Another one which we can prepare before-hand is ‘pre-recorded guests messages’. We are happy to edit your guests videos or audios and play it on your wedding day (regardless it is on your ceremony day or banquet). We can help you to facilitate these, feel free to contact us to discuss.

On the registration day, you may need to reserve 2 to 4 hours of your day. Registration in the town hall would last around 45 mins to 1 hour. Church wedding would last about 1 hour to 1.5 hour. Then you may want to take some photos in the venue and / or the surrounded area.

For the other celebration days, you may want to start with a drinking reception where photo shoot for family and friends will be taken place. We estimate it will last for 1 to 1.5 hour. We can have a confetti-welcome for the newlyweds when they arrive. We would suggest the couples to give the speeches once they arrive to welcome the guests and join the family photo shoot. After that, they can have a more fun banquet instead of traditional sit down banquet or buffet, please see the blog post about catering.

Give us a call or simply email us to discuss any idea you have. We would love to make your dreams come true!
