Romantic Engagement Photography in Greenwich, London
Greenwich is one of the most beautiful locations in London for engagement photography, pre-wedding photography, and cinematic videography. Recently, we had the pleasure of photographing and filming a lovely couple during their engagement session in this historic part of London.
After a relaxing three-hour session, we travelled together to Greenwich for their romantic pre-wedding shoot.
Greenwich is one of our favourite London locations for engagement photography because it offers stunning greenery, historic architecture, riverside scenery, and beautiful skyline views all in one area.
During the session, we photographed and filmed around Greenwich Park, The Royal Observatory, The Queen’s House, The Old Royal Naval College, Canary Wharf viewpoints, and the iconic Cutty Sark ship.
The couple enjoyed natural romantic moments while we captured elegant portraits, candid interactions, and cinematic video clips throughout the afternoon. We also explored the riverside and town centre areas, using the charming pubs and lively London atmosphere as part of the background.

Before the photoshoot began, we welcomed the bride-to-be to our studio in Hammersmith, where we provided professional bridal hair and makeup services. After an enjoyable three-hour hair and makeup session, we travelled together to Greenwich to begin their engagement photography and videography experience.
When planning the session, we presented several location options to the couple. They chose Greenwich, which is also one of our favourite locations for engagement photography and wedding videography in London. Over the years, we have photographed and filmed many couples here, and the area never fails to provide stunning scenery, romantic backdrops, and timeless imagery.
Engagement Photography at Greenwich Park
We began the session in the beautiful Greenwich Park. Surrounded by mature trees, peaceful pathways, and lush greenery, the couple enjoyed a relaxed and romantic atmosphere while we captured natural interactions, candid moments, affectionate embraces, and elegant portraits.
Greenwich Park offers a wonderful balance of open spaces and intimate corners, making it one of London’s most versatile locations for engagement photography and pre-wedding shoots. The natural surroundings help couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, resulting in authentic and emotional photographs.
Stunning Views from the Royal Observatory
From the park, we made our way towards the famous viewpoint near the Royal Observatory. This location offers one of the most iconic panoramas in London, overlooking the Queen’s House, the Old Royal Naval College, and the impressive Canary Wharf skyline.
The contrast between historic architecture and modern city views creates a unique setting that perfectly reflects London’s character. It is one of our favourite spots for capturing dramatic engagement portraits and cinematic video footage.
Exploring Historic Greenwich
As the afternoon continued, we explored the charming streets and riverside areas of Greenwich. The town centre offers a wonderful atmosphere, with traditional pubs, lively cafés, cobbled walkways, and picturesque streets providing endless opportunities for natural documentary-style photography.
We captured the couple enjoying quiet moments together while the vibrant surroundings added an authentic London feel to both the photographs and video footage. These unscripted moments often become some of the most meaningful memories from a pre-wedding session.
Romantic Portraits at Cutty Sark
Our final location was the iconic Cutty Sark, one of Greenwich’s most recognisable landmarks. The combination of historic maritime heritage, striking architecture, and contemporary surroundings creates an elegant backdrop for engagement photography and cinematic videography.
As the evening light softened, we captured a final series of romantic portraits around the ship, creating a beautiful conclusion to an unforgettable engagement session.
Looking Forward to Their Wedding Day
After completing the engagement session, we said goodbye to our wonderful couple—but not for long.
We are delighted to be joining them again next month for their wedding day photography and videography coverage. Their celebration will begin with a beautiful church ceremony at Christ Church Turnham Green, followed by a reception at The Black Lion in Chiswick.
