A Beautiful Summer Wedding at Southdowns Manor
Holly and Charlie chose a timeless and elegant white English wedding, celebrating their special day entirely at Southdowns Manor. Having the ceremony, reception, and evening celebration all in one location allowed their family and friends to enjoy a relaxed and seamless wedding experience.
The weather was absolutely perfect, with bright blue skies and beautiful sunshine creating the ideal atmosphere for outdoor wedding photography. The natural light brought extra warmth and vibrancy to every photograph, while also creating a beautiful cinematic feeling throughout their wedding film.
For us, wedding photography is not only about capturing beautiful images — it is about telling the complete story of a couple’s journey, their family relationships, and the emotions that make their wedding day truly unique.
This was our second time working at this stunning wedding venue, and once again it provided the perfect setting for a timeless English wedding. Surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the South Downs National Park, Southdowns Manor offers elegant gardens, wonderful ceremony spaces and countless locations for beautiful wedding photographs and cinematic wedding films.
Our day began by capturing the bride and groom getting ready separately, including the bridal hair and make-up preparations. We also documented every important detail, from the wedding rings, flowers and decorations to the wedding cake and reception styling.
Before the ceremony, Holly and Charlie enjoyed a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride, creating some truly unforgettable photographs and video footage. Their outdoor garden ceremony was filled with emotion, especially with their lovely children proudly taking part as page boys.
Following the ceremony, we captured romantic couple portraits, family photographs and group photographs around the beautiful grounds before documenting heartfelt speeches, cake cutting, the first dance and a fantastic evening celebration.

Our day began with the bridal preparations and groom preparations at Southdowns Manor. Holly and Charlie got ready separately, surrounded by their closest family members and friends.

During the bridal preparations, we documented Holly’s professional hair and makeup process, capturing the transformation from a relaxed morning with family into the moment she became a beautiful bride.
